MUMBAI - Ambuja Cements consolidated net profit for the March quarter rose to INR 18.30 bln from INR 10.25 bln in the year-ago period and was way higher than the analysts’ estimate of INR 5.11 bln. The company’s revenue rose to INR 108.92 bln from INR 98.94 bln, but was lower than the estimate of INR 111.14 bln.
