Lloyds Metals commissions 4 mtpa pellet plant at Konsari, Maharashtra

NEW DELHI – Lloyds Metals and Energy Ltd. Monday said it has commissioned its second pellet plant with a capacity of 4 million tonnes per annum at Konsari, Maharashtra. The plant has started production around 16 months after its construction began in December 2024. With this, the company's total pellet capacity at Konsari site has risen to 8 million tonnes per annum.
The first 4 mtpa plant is already running at full capacity, according to the exchange filing. The facility is integrated with the company's captive iron ore mines at Surjagarh, with raw material transported through an 85-kilometre slurry pipeline commissioned in June 2025, enabling production of premium-grade pellets.
For the December quarter, on a consolidated basis, Lloyds Metals had reported a net profit of INR 10.47 billion on a revenue of INR 50.58 billion. At 1300 IST, its shares traded nearly 1% higher at INR 1,777.10 on the National Stock Exchange. End
