MUMBAI – Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. Friday said it sold 59,701 cars to dealerships in April, up 31% on year. This included domestic sales of 59,000 units, which rose 31% on year. Exports of its passenger vehicles surged to 701 units in April from 333 units a year ago. Despatches of its electric vehicles in India and overseas grew 72% on year to 9,150 units.
For the December quarter, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles had reported a consolidated net loss of INR 34.86 billion on a revenue of INR 701.08 billion. Thursday, its shares closed 3.2% lower at INR 341.55 on the National Stock Exchange. End
