--Telecom dept body finalised Vodafone AGR dues at INR 640.5 bln as on Dec 31 

--Vodafone Idea: Have to pay AGR dues INR 1 bln/yr over 4 yrs between FY32-35 

--Vodafone Idea: Balance AGR dues need to be paid in 6 parts over FY36-41 

NEW DELHI – Vodafone Idea Ltd. Thursday said the committee appointed by the Department of Telecommunications to reasses the company's adjusted gross revenue dues has finalised the amount at INR 640.46 billion as on Dec. 31, 2025. The company will pay a minimum of INR 1 billion per year over four years, starting 2031-32 (Apr-Mar), it said in an exchange filing. The remaining amount will be paid in six equal installments annually from FY36 to FY41.

Following directions from the Supreme Court to consider grievances of the company, the Department of Telecommunications had frozen the company's AGR dues at INR 876.95 billion as on Dec. 31. The latest revision bodes well for the debt-ridden telecom player, which is looking to raise funds to fuel growth. 

For the December quarter, Vodafone Idea had reported consolidated net loss of INR 52.86 billion on revenue of INR 113.23 billion. Thursday, shares of the company ended 0.7% lower at INR 10.22 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
