Netweb Technologies launches unified data platform Tyrone ParallelStor Velox

MUMBAI – Netweb Technologies India Ltd. Wednesday launched its unified data platform, Tyrone ParallelStor Velox. The platform is equipped with parallel file system capabilities and is designed to address the issue of "data bottleneck" in artificial intelligence infrastructure.
A data bottleneck is a point of congestion that limits the flow of data and slows down a system. Velox will serve as a data backbone for AI, high-performance computing, and enterprise workloads, and will ensure that data can be accessed, moved, and processed at an enhanced speed, the company said in a press release.
The platform will unify data across various storage technologies into a single global namespace to allow high-speed access across environments. "This allows AI pipelines, analytics frameworks, and enterprise applications to operate on a single, consistent data layer — without duplication," according to the release.
At 0922, shares of Netweb Technologies traded 3.7% higher at INR 4,150 on the National Stock Exchange. For the December quarter, the company reported a net profit of INR 733.11 million on revenues of INR 8.05 billion. End
