MUMBAI – Brigade Enterprises Ltd. Tuesday announced the acquisition of 5.72 acres of land in Osman Nagar, Hyderabad, Telangana, through an auction conducted by the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corp. at INR 440 per acre, excluding registration costs. The company plans to develop a residential project on the acquired land, it said in an exchange filing. 


"Hyderabad has been a key focus market for us, having emerged as one of the most dynamic real estate markets in the country and this land parcel in Osman Nagar is a strategic fit, meeting our stringent criteria for scale and suitability for premium development," Amar Mysore, executive director of Brigade Enterprises, said in the filing. The acquisition is a pivotal step in the company's broader strategy to deepen its roots in Hyderabad and further portfolio expansion, Brigade Enterprises said. 

 

For the December quarter, on a consolidated basis, the company had reported a net profit of INR 1.87 billion on revenues of INR 15.75 billion. Tuesday, its shares ended nearly 2% higher at INR 800.65 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
