--Chalet Hotels: Seasons Hotels owns 144-room hotel in Udaipur 

NEW DELHI – Chalet Hotels Ltd. Friday said it will buy Seasons Hotels Pvt. Ltd. for INR 1.71 billion in tranches by May 15. Seasons hotels owns 144-room Inder Residency Resort & Spa in Udaipur, Rajasthan, according to an exchange filing.

The Udaipur hotel is spread over 8.2 acres and has large banqueting facilities, restaurants, and lawns which are used for weddings, meetings, conferences, and exhibitions. This will mark Chalet Hotel's foray in Rajasthan, the company said.

"The acquisition is in line with the Company's expansion strategy to diversify the portfolio to include leisure properties spanning different geographies," the filing said.

Seasons Hotels reported a revenue of INR 74.3 million in the financial year 2024-25 (Apr-Mar), compared with INR 103.5 million in FY24 and INR 97.2 million in FY23, according to the filing.

For the December quarter, the Chalet Hotels recorded, on a consolidated basis, a net profit of INR 1.24 billion on a revenue of INR 5.82 billion. At 1244 IST, shares of Chalet Hotels traded at INR 798.05 on the National Stock Exchange, up 1.2%.  End
