Thundersqualls with wind speeds reaching 50–60 km per hour and gusting to 70 km per hour are likely in parts of Bihar on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, the bureau said.

A trough runs from Telangana to the Comorin area, while an anti-cyclonic circulation lies over interior Maharashtra and adjoining Telangana and north interior Karnataka, the weather bureau said. These weather systems are expected to lead to a wet spell with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds over parts of central Maharashtra and Marathawada till Friday and over Konkan and Goa on Tuesday and Thursday, the bureau said. Similar weather is also likely in most parts of south peninsular India till Friday, it said.

Heatwave conditions are expected to continue in parts of Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, east Rajasthan, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh till Friday, in west Uttar Pradesh till Saturday, in west Rajasthan on Wednesday and Thursday, and in Madhya Pradesh from Wednesday to Friday, the weather department said.
