Jio Fincl Boards OKs 32 mln equity share 'Employee Stock Option Plan 2026'

NEW DELHI – In a meeting on Friday, the Board of Jio Financial Services Ltd. approved the 'Jio Financial Services Limited – Employee Stock Option Plan 2026', the company informed exchanges. It was based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and is subject to approval of the members of the company at the Annual General Meeting, the exchange filing said.
"In aggregate 32 million Options (exercisable into 32 million equity shares of face value of INR 10 each) are proposed to be granted to the eligible employees of the company, its subsidiaries or associates, at an exercise price equal to the fair market value, and on such terms and conditions as may be determined by the Committee, in accordance with the provisions of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Share Based Employee Benefits and Sweat Equity) Regulations, 2021," the company said.
On Friday, shares of Jio Financial Services ended at INR 243.86 on the National Stock Exchange, up 1.07%. End
