Tejas Networks appoints Arnob Roy as MD, CEO; announces other mgmt changes

MUMBAI - Tejas Networks Ltd. Wednesday appointed Arnob Roy as managing director and chief executive officer of the company effective immediately till August 2028. Roy earlier served as chief operating officer and executive director of the company. Preetham Uthaiah will replace Roy as the chief operating officer.

 

The company also appointed AVS Prasad as chief financial officer with effect from May 16. Prasad will take over from Sumit Dhingra who has resigned from the post, the company said in an exchange filing. 

 

The company appointed Srikumar Vijayasekharan as an independent director for five years. It also appointed him as an additional director with immediate effect. The comes after PR Ramesh stepped down from the independent director post.

 

The company released its March quarter earnings on Wednesday, reporting a consolidated net loss of INR 2.11 billion on consolidated revenues of INR 3.33 billion. Wednesday, shares of Tejas Networks closed 1.7% higher at INR 449.85 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
