Adani Green Energy's FY26 sales up 34% on year at 37.6 bln units

MUMBAI – Adani Green Energy Ltd.'s sale of energy rose 34% on year to around 37.6 billion units in 2025-26 (Apr-Mar), supported by strong capacity additions, according to the company's exchange filing.
The capacity utilisation factor of its solar portfolio was at 24%, backed by 99.2% plant availability. The capacity utilisation factor of its wind and hybrid portfolios were at 26.6% and 35.2%, backed by 95.6% and 98.5% plant availability, respectively, it said.
The company added over 5 gigawatts of greenfield capacity in FY26. Its operational capacity rose 35% to 19.3 GW. It operationalised 3.4 GW of solar power plants in FY26, with a capacity addition of around 3 GW in Khavda, Gujarat and 438 megawatts in Rajasthan. The company operationalised 683 MW of wind power plants in Khavda and 956 MW of hybrid power plants.
The company is developing the world's largest energy park in Khavda, with the aim to generate 30 GW of clean energy by 2029. For the quarter ended December, Adani Green Energy reported a consolidated net loss of INR 410 million on revenues of INR 26.18 billion. Friday, shares of the company closed 3.9% higher at INR 1,085.35 on the National Stock Exchange. End
