UCO Bank keeps MCLR unchanged across tenures

MUMBAI – UCO Bank has kept its marginal cost of funds-based lending rates unchanged across tenures, the lender said in an exchange filing Friday. The bank's MCLR ranges from 7.90% to 8.75% for overnight to one-year tenures. 

 

The Reserve Bank of India's norms require banks to review MCLR every month. The RBI's Monetary Policy Committee Wednesday left the repo rate unchanged at 5.25%. 

 

UCO bank has increased its Treasury bill-linked lending rate for the three-month tenure to 5.35% from 5.30%. It also raised the UCO government bond-linked rate for one-year tenure to 5.72% from 5.58%, and the benchmark 10-year gilt-linked rate to 7.24% from 6.83%, all effective from Friday. 

 

For the December quarter, the bank had reported a net profit of INR 7.40 billion on total income of INR 75.21 billion. At 1348 IST, shares of the bank traded at INR 26.22, up 2.06%, on the National Stock Exchange.  End
