--US Trump: Forces to start shooting if Iran doesn't comply with agreement

MUMBAI – US President Donald Trump Thursday threatened Iran that all US ships, aircraft, and ‌military personnel will stay in and around Iran until it fully complied with the "real agreement."

"All U.S. Ships, Aircraft, and Military Personnel, with additional Ammunition, Weaponry, and anything else that is appropriate and necessary for the lethal prosecution and destruction of an already substantially degraded Enemy, will remain in place in, and around, Iran, until such time as the REAL AGREEMENT reached is fully complied with," Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

Trump's comments came after the two-week ceasefire agreement between the US, Isreal, and Iran appeared at risk of unravelling, less than a day after it was announced Wednesday. Cracks began to appear in the agreement as Israel continued to attack the Iran-aligned Hezbollah in Lebanon, while Tehran accused both Israel and the US of violating the agreement and said that proceeding with peace talks would be "unreasonable". On Wednesday, Iran also attacked Saudi Arabia's East-West oil pipeline, which carries 7 million barrels of crude oil per day from the Gulf to the Red Sea.

Trump further said that if Iran does not comply with the agreement, then shooting will begin stronger than anyone has seen before. "If for any reason it is not (complied with), which is highly unlikely, then the "Shootin' Starts," bigger, and better, and stronger than anyone has ever seen before," he said. "It was agreed, a long time ago, and despite all of the fake rhetoric to the contrary - no nuclear weapons and, the Strait of Hormuz will be open & safe."  End
