--Jubilant Food: Energy supply improved in past weeks, ops back to normal
MUMBAI – Jubilant Foodworks Ltd. Wednesday said its operations have returned to normal after energy supply improved in the past few weeks. The company's operations in March were affected after some of its stores failed to get gas cylinders owing to supply constraints from West Asia.
The company clarified that the number of stores dependent on liquified petroleum gas was lower than the 95% count suggested in an article by Bussinesworld. The company said it was taking steps to reduce the dependence on LPG, according to an exchange filing.
For the quarter ended December, Jubilant Foodworks reported a consolidated net profit of INR 540.79 million on revenue of INR 18.02 billion. On Tuesday, its shares closed at INR 413.15 on the National Stock Exchange, down more than 10%. End
