MUMBAI – Titan Co. Ltd. recorded 46% on-year growth in its consumer business revenue during the March quarter, the company informed exchanges Tuesday. The fashion accessories company's jewellery business in India also recorded revenue growth of 46% on year in Jan-Mar.

Titan's domestic watches business revenue grew 7% on year during the quarter. This comprised 16% on-year growth in analog watches and an on-year decline of 53% in the smart watches category. The EyeCare business of the company in India saw revenue growth of 16% on year in the March quarter. Emerging businesses recorded 17% on-year growth during the quarter, including 30% on-year growth in the fragrances segment. This was led by double-digit volume growth in Fastrack and Skinn.

Titan added 42 domestic stores in Jan-Mar, taking the total number of stores to 3,441. It added 128 stores outside India during the quarter, which includes 127 Damas stores.

In July, Titan had signed a definitive agreement to acquire 67% stake in Damas LLC at an enterprise value of AED 1.04 billion (about INR 24 billion). The proposed transaction was strategically significant for Titan's jewellery business as it would facilitate expansion across Gulf Cooperation Council region countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, and the UAE.

The company's domestic jewellery secondary business reported like-to-like growth of 48% on year in the March quarter. The Tata group-owned company's jewellery business saw high single-digit buyer growth in Jan-Mar, after reporting nearly flat buyer growth in the previous three quarters of 2025-26 (Apr-Mar).

The average ticket size of the India jewellery business also rose considerably in the March quarter, contributing to its revenue growth.  End
