Tata Motors launches Tata Intra EV pickup starting at INR 1.20 mln

MUMBAI – Tata Motors Ltd. Tuesday launched Tata Intra EV pickup at a starting price of INR 1.20 million, expanding its electric small commercial vehicle portfolio. 

 

Available at all commercial vehicle dealerships of the company, the new pickup has a payload capacity of 1,750 kg and comes with long load body options of up to 10 feet and 2 inches. It can be utilised for fast-moving consumer goods, e-commerce, cold-chain, waste management, and even distribution of cooking gas and dairy, Tata Motors said. The pickup comes with 72 kilowatt electric motor that produces 230 newton meter torque that delivers strong pulling power even under full load, while 23% gradeability ensures smooth operations on challenging terrain.

 

For the quarter ended December, the company had reported a net profit of INR 5.61 billion on revenues of INR 204.04 billion. At 1255 IST, the company's shares traded flat at INR 391.55 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
