MUMBAI – Poonawalla Fincorp Ltd. Monday said its assets under management increased nearly 10% on quarter and over 69% on year to INR 603.25 billion as of Mar. 31. The company continues to have ample liquidity of around INR 75.50 billion as on Mar. 31, it said in an exchange filing.
"The company stands by its risk first approach, robust risk management systems and a diversified asset base", it said in the filing. "As we continue to scale, our focus and commitment stands on business expansion in line with building a long-term sustainable profitable model," it said.
Poonawalla Fincorp added that the financial information is provisional and subject to audit. The non-banking finance company had reported consolidated net profit of INR 1.50 billion for the quarter ended December against a profit of INR 18.18 billion. At 1100 IST, shares of the company were 0.6% down at INR 391 on the National Stock Exchange. End
