NEW DELHI – Senco Gold Ltd.'s revenue rose 35% on year in 2025-26 (Apr-Mar), the company said its quarterly business update Saturday. It recorded a 46% on-year growth in top line for the March quarter due to wedding season demand, it said in an exchange filing.

"The wedding season in the (March) quarter was spread across the whole quarter, and to cater for this, we launched new designs, collections and attractive offers. Valentine's Day and International Women's Day drove strong growth in footfall, particularly in our gifting and lightweight segments," Senco Gold said. The company's top line had grown 50% on year to INR 30.71 billion in the December quarter.

The company also launched seven new showrooms in the March quarter, which included two franchise stores. With this, the gold jewellery brand's total showroom count now stands at 201. "We have a strong pipeline for store expansion in Apr–Sept across the franchise and company-owned categories, and plan to launch 20–25 stores in FY27, with a focus on opening more franchise stores," the company said.

"Despite the highly volatile environment, customers have continued to purchase jewellery, and we have tried to plan our inventory based on changing consumer demand and maintaining our gross margin and profitability, managing the risk effectively," the company said. "We are geared up for the upcoming auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Poila Boishak, Baishakhi, Ratha Yatra and Raja Parba in Odisha and the summer wedding season in Apr-Jun with curated collections and hyper-local jewellery."

The company had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 2.64 billion in the December quarter, significantly higher than the INR 334.84 million in the corresponding quarter a year ago. Shares of Senco Gold ended 0.1% higher Thursday at INR 288.80 on the National Stock Exchange. End
