L&T Fin's retail loan book rises 26% on year to INR 1.20 tln as of Mar 31

MUMBAI – L&T Finance Ltd.'s retail loan book rose 26% on year to INR 1.20 trillion as of Mar. 31 from INR 951.80 billion in the year-ago period, according to provisional figures released by the non-banking finance company Friday. The company's retail disbursements rose 39% on year to INR 831.90 billion in 2025-26 (Apr-Mar).

 

The company's retail disbursements in the quarter ended Mar. 31 were INR 240.80 billion, up 62% on year. Among total disbursements during the December quarter, urban finance accounted for the largest share at INR 98.40 billion. The company disbursed INR 72 billion in rural business finance loans and INR 20.35 billion for farmer finance in the March quarter. The company's gold finance loans were at INR 27.75 billion, compared to nil in the same period last year. The company achieved 'retailisation' of 98% of its portfolio as of Mar. 31, up from 97% a year ago.

 

For the quarter ended December, the company reported a consolidated net profit of INR 7.39 billion on a revenue of INR 45.78 billion. On Thursday, shares of L&T Finance ended nearly 2% lower at INR 240.35 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
