Bajaj Finance 's AUM rises 22% on year as on Mar 31, new loans up 20.5%

MUMBAI – Bajaj Finance Ltd.'s assets under management rose 22% on year to INR 5.10 trillion as of Mar. 31, according to provisional figures released by the company Friday. The non-banking finance company's assets under management grew INR 255 billion in the March quarter.
New loans booked by the company rose 20.5% on year to 12.89 million. Its deposit book was at INR 685.50 billion as of Mar. 31 compared to INR 714.03 billion a year ago. Bajaj Finance's customer franchise stood at 119.33 million as of Mar. 31, up from 101.82 million a year ago.
Bajaj Finance had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 39.78 billion for the December quarter on a revenue of INR 212.14 billion. On Thursday, shares of the company ended at INR 826.85, up nearly 1.2%, on the National Stock Exchange. End
