--Adani Power gets order from Maharashtra discom to supply 2.5 GW for 25 yrs
NEW DELHI – Adani Power Ltd. Thursday said it has received a letter of award from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. for the supply of 2,500 megawatt renewable energy round-the-clock power for a period of 25 years. The contract follows Adani Power being declared a successful bidder in the e-reverse auction conducted by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co.
"The power supply under the power supply agreement will be for a period of 25 years from the scheduled commencement date of supply", the company said in an exchange filing. However, the scheduled commencement date of supply was not disclosed by the company.
For the December quarter, Adani Power reported a consolidated net profit of INR 24.80 billion on a consolidated revenue of INR 124.51 billion. Thursday, shares of the company closed at INR 159.97 on the National Stock Exchange, up 1.8%. End
