NEW DELHI – India's services trade surplus narrowed to $17.84 billion in February from $21.54 billion in January, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India Monday. Services exports rose 9.7% on year to $34.71 billion in February while imports rose 16.2% on year to $16.87 billion.

 

Services exports and imports were at $38.17 billion and $16.63 billion, respectively, in January. The central bank releases provisional monthly data on India's services trade. The data may be revised when the balance-of-payments data are released quarterly.  End
