--Dixon Tech arm gets approval under electronics component mfg scheme
MUMBAI – Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd. Monday said its wholly-owned subsidiary Dixon Display Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has received approval for the electronics component manufacturing scheme, under which it will undertake display module sub-assembly operations, Dixon Technologies said in an exchange filing.
Through Dixon Display Technologies, the company aims to scale up its operations in liquid crystal modules and thin-film-transistor liquid-crystal display modules. This development aligns with the company's long-term vision of driving innovation, enhancing value addition, and contributing meaningfully to India's position as a global manufacturing hub, said Atul B. Lall, vice chairman and managing director, Dixon Technologies (India), in the accompanying press release.
For the quarter ended December, Dixon Technologies had reported consolidated net profit of INR 2.87 billion on revenue of INR 106.72 billion. At 1421 IST, shares of the company traded over 2% lower at INR 9,809 on the National Stock Exchange. End
