India Cements amalgamates 4 wholly owned subsidiaries with itself

AHMEDABAD – India Cements Ltd. said in a filing to stock exchanges that four of its subsidiaries -- ICL Financial Services Ltd., ICL International Ltd., ICL Securities Ltd., and India Cements Infrastructures Ltd.-- have been amalgamated with the company and stand dissolved without winding up, effective Saturday.

 

The National Company Law Tribunal, Chennai, had approved the amalgamation of the four subsidiaries of India Cements in its order over a fortnight ago. The company later filed the order with the Registrar of Companies, Chennai, under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, to make the scheme effective. 

 

For the December quarter, the company reported a net loss of INR 57.2 million and revenue of INR 11.14 billion. On Friday, shares of India Cements closed 1.1% lower at INR 356 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
