Dilip Buildcon gets letter of acceptance for INR-6.9-bln project in Gujarat

NEW DELHI – Dilip Buildcon Ltd. Saturday said it has received a letter of acceptance from the Gujarat government's Narmada Water Resources Water Supply & Kalpasar Department for a project worth INR 6.99 billion. The company was declared the lowest bidder for the project in February. The project entails construction of a flood protection embankment on the Narmada river in Bharuch district, the company said in an exchange filing.
For the December quarter, the company had reported a net profit of INR 6.11 billion on revenue of INR 17.18 billion. Friday, its shares closed 4.8% lower at INR 386.15 on the National Stock Exchange. End
