--Power Mech: Order book dn by INR 15.63 bln as Bengal discom annuls tender
NEW DELHI – Power Mech Projects Ltd. Wednesday said the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. has annulled the tender process for a 250 megawatt standalone battery energy storage system in Goaltore for which it had issued a letter of award to the company's wholly owned arm PM Green Pvt. Ltd. This annulment will result in a reduction in the order book value of Power Mech by INR 15.63 billion, the company said in an exchange filing.
"The annulment has been attributed to administrative and procedural exigencies arising from circumstances beyond the control of either party. It is further clarified that the said decision is not on account of any default or non-compliance on the part of the bidder," Power Mech said.
Power Mech had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 939.9 million for the December quarter on revenue of INR 14.20 billion. Wednesday, its shares closed 2.1% higher at INR 1,918 on the National Stock Exchange. End
