Govt extends authorisations of gold imports from UAE till Jun 30 from Mar 31

NEW DELHI – The government has extended tariff rate quota authorisations issued in 2025-26 (Apr-Mar) for the import of gold under the India-United Arab Emirates trade agreement to Jun. 30 from Mar. 31, the Director General of Foreign Trade said.

 

The extension comes "in view of the prevailing geopolitical developments affecting global trade and logistics" and with a view to facilitating importers, the Director General of Foreign Trade said in a notification. No separate application or composition fee will be required to avail the extension.  End
