IBBI admitted 110,475 claims under insolvency code in Apr-Dec

NEW DELHI – The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India admitted 110,475 claims under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code during Apr-Dec, with total realisable value of INR 218.43 billion, according to data shared by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Rajya Sabha Tuesday. The IBBI has reached resolution in 188 cases this financial year till December.
In FY25, the IBBI had admitted 162,746 claims with total realisable value of INR 558.21 billion. The board saw 259 resolutions in FY25. The liquidation value, which estimates realisable value under forced sale condition, was 200% in FY26 so far, lower than 230% in FY25. End
