Samvardhana Motherson stake raise in Motherson Tech to complete by Jul-Sept

MUMBAI – Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd. Monday said the scheme for reduction of share capital by Motherson Technology Services Ltd. of certain shareholders is expected to be completed by Jul-Sept, against Jan-Mar as estimated earlier. Samvardhana Motherson holds a 92.96% shareholding in Motherson Technology and post the execution of the scheme, it will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samvardhana Motherson, according to an exchange filing.
For the December quarter, Samvardhana Motherson reported consolidated net profit of INR 10.24 billion on consolidated revenue of INR 314.09 billion. On Monday, the company's shares closed 4.5% lower at INR 106.59 on the National Stock Exchange. End
