Bosch, Tata AutoComp form JV to manufacture, sell EV components

NEW DELHI – Bosch Ltd. and Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd. have formed a 50:50 joint venture to engineer, manufacture, and sell eAxle systems and electric motors in India, according to an exchange filing by Bosch on Monday. The joint venture will be headquartered in Pune, and aims to start operations by mid-2026, the company said.
Globally, Bosch has invested more than 6 billion euros in e-mobility, according to the company. The partnership enables Bosch to bring advanced eAxle systems and electric motor solutions to India's growing e-mobility market, the company said. The boards of Bosch, Bosch India, and Tata AutoComp Systems have already approved the joint venture.
For the December quarter, Bosch reported net profit of INR 5.32 billion and revenues of INR 48.86 billion. At 1342 IST Monday, shares of Bosch traded more than 3.1% lower at INR 29,450 on the National Stock Exchange. End
