JSW Cement commissions greenfield integrated cement plant in Rajasthan

MUMBAI – JSW Cement Ltd. Thursday said it has commissioned its greenfield integrated cement plant in Nagaur, Rajasthan, with a cement grinding capacity of 2.5 million tonnes per annum and a clinkerisation capacity of 3.3 million tonnes per annum. With this, the company's total grinding capacity has increased to 24.1 mtpa, it said in a filing with the stock exchanges.
The company's total clinker manufacturing capacity, including the clinker capacity at its joint venture, JSW Cement FZC, is 9.74 mtpa, according to the filing.
For the December quarter, on a consolidated basis, JSW Cement had reported a net profit of INR 1.42 billion on a revenue of INR 16.21 billion. Thursday, its shares ended 3.2% lower at INR 114.84 on the National Stock Exchange. End
