MUMBAI – Nestle India Ltd. Thursday said it has added a production line for its confectionary product 'Munch' at the Sanand factory in Gujarat for INR 2.25 billion. The production line has a capacity to make 8,300 tonnes of Munch per annum, the company said in an exchange filing Thursday.
The company will finance the capacity addition through internal accruals. Thursday, shares of Nestle India closed at INR 1,186.30 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, down 1.5%. For the December quarter, the company had reported net profit of INR 10.18 billion on revenue of INR 56.67 billion. End
