CESC gives 4 letters of award for 600 MW wind-solar hybrid power over 25 yrs

NEW DELHI – CESC Ltd. Tuesday said it has issued four letters of award for supply of 600 megawatt wind-solar hybrid power on long-term basis over a period of 25 years. The awardees include its subsidiary Purvah Green Power Pvt. Ltd. for supply of 300 MW of power at a tariff rate of INR 3.75 per kilowatt-hour, Vismaya Renewables India Project Pvt. Ltd. for 100 MW power at INR 3.74/kWh, and Hexa Climate Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Sprng Energy Pvt. Ltd. for 100 MW each at a rate of INR 3.75/kWh.
For the December quarter, CESC reported consolidated net profit of INR 1.76 billion on revenue of INR 20.24 billion. On Tuesday, shares of the company ended at INR 155.93 on the National Stock Exchange, down 0.4%. End
