--Tata Motors to raise prices of CVs by up to 1.5% across range from Apr 1 

 

MUMBAI – Tata Motors Ltd., which houses the commercial vehicles business of Tata Group, Monday said it will increase prices of its commercial vehicles by up to 1.5% and the new prices would come into effect from Apr. 1. The price increase is being done to partially offset the impact of rising commodity prices and other input costs, the company said in a press release.

 

The increase will vary from model to model and variant to variant, the company said. For the quarter ended December, the company had reported net profit of INR 5.61 billion on revenues of INR 204.04 billion. Monday, the company's shares closed at INR 437.60 on the National Stock Exchange, up 2.8%. End
