Avenue Supermarts opens two new stores, takes total count to 463

NEW DELHI – Avenue Supermarts Ltd., which runs the DMart supermarket chain, Thursday said it has opened two new stores at Bavdhan in Pune, Maharashtra, and Chilakaluripeta in Palnadu, Andhra Pradesh. With this, the company's total store count has risen to 463, Avenue Supermarts said. It had 442 stores at the end of December.
For the December quarter, Avenue Supermarts had reported a net profit of INR 9.23 billion on a revenue of INR 176.13 billion. Thursday, its shares ended slightly higher at INR 3,953.60 on the National Stock Exchange. End
