India Feb CPI inflation 3.21% vs 2.74% in Jan

NEW DELHI – The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation Thursday released the latest inflation data based on the new CPI series, which has 2024 as the base year. The earlier series had 2012 as the base year for calculating price changes.
LATEST: The general CPI index was 104.6 in February, 0.1% higher than 104.5 in January. Inflation in February was 3.21%, up from 2.74% in January.
NEXT UPDATE: The government will detail CPI data for March on Apr. 13.
