--Aarti Ind inks multi-year supply pact with a global agrochemical major 

 

NEW DELHI - Aarti Industries Ltd. has entered into a multi-year supply agreement with a global agrochemical innovator which is expected to generate approximately $150 million over the contract period. "This agreement elevates the current annual engagement to a structured supply contract through 31st March 2030, with a significant increase in volumes," Aarti Industries said in an exchange filing Thursday.

 

Under the agreement, Aarti Industries will supply a critical agrochemical intermediate used in crop protection formulations. The company has adequate capacities to meet the requirement and does not expect to incur incremental capex, as per the filing. 

 

For the December quarter, Aarti Industries reported a net profit of INR 1.31 billion on a revenue of INR 22.76 billion. At 1115 IST, shares of the company traded 4.6% higher on the National Stock Exchange at INR 450 a piece.   End
