MUMBAI – Ola Electric Mobility Ltd. has started offering its Roadster motorcycle from INR 79,999 as part of its "Holi Mahotsav" offer. This puts the Roadster range on a par with entry segment internal combustion engine motorcycles. The company did not disclose the earlier price of the motorcyle or say whether the price had been cut and if so by how much.

 

The company's Roadster X portfolio comes in 2.5 kilowatt-hour, 3.5 kilowatt-hour, and 4.5 kilowatt-hour configurations. These are now priced at INR 79,999, INR 92,999, and INR 99,999, respectively. The Roadster X+, available in 4.5 kilowatt-hour and 9.1 kilowatt-hour configurations, are now priced at INR 1,09,999 and INR 1,89,000, respectively.

 

The electric two-wheeler maker has also introduced "Muhurat Mahotsav", which allows customers to avail special festive offers during designated 90-minute "shubh muhurat" windows. "Customers will be able to access limited units at a special 'Muhurat' price revealed only during the live window," the company said in an exchange filing. The "muhurat" is available over two days starting Tuesday.

 

For the December quarter, on a consolidated basis, Ola Electric's net loss was INR 4.87 billion on a revenue of INR 4.70 billion. At 0925 IST, its shares were down 1% at INR 23.83 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
