Promoter Samayat Svcs sells nearly 14% in Vishal Mega Mart via bulk deals

MUMBAI – Vishal Mega Mart Ltd.'s promoter Samayat Services LLP sold 13.8% stake in the company for INR 76.36 billion in two bulk deals on Friday on the National Stock Exchange. Out of the nearly 14% stake, it sold 9% at INR 117.03 per share and the remaining at INR 117. At the end of December, Samayat Services had more than 54% stake in Vishal Mega Mart.
At the same time, Government of Singapore bought 2.7% stake in Vishal Mega Mart and Monetary Authority of Singapore bought 1.5% stake. HDFC Mutual Fund bought 2% stake in the company. All the deals happended at INR 117 per share. Post these large deals, shares of the company ended nearly 8% lower at INR 117.78 on the National Stock Exchange. End
