--GAIL to add 178.2 MW wind capacity in Maharashtra for INR 17.36 bln 

--GAIL to fund 178 MW wind capacity addition for INR 17 bln via debt, equity 

 

MUMBAI – GAIL (India) Ltd. will spend INR 17.36 billion on a greenfield wind energy project of 178.2 megawatt in Maharashtra, the company said in an exchange filing Friday. The company expects the project to complete in two years after giving a contract and it will be funded through debt and equity.

 

For the quarter ended December, GAIL reported a net profit of INR 16.03 billion on a revenue of INR 340.76 billion. Friday, its shares closed marginally lower at INR 169.53 per share on the National Stock Exchange.  End
