Arbitral Tribunal asks KRBL to pay around INR 948 mln to Reliable Trading Co

MUMBAI – KRBL Ltd. Friday said an arbitral tribunal has asked the companyto pay around INR 948 million to Reliable Trading Co., including 30.99 million in Saudi riyals and 2.15 million in US dollars. Reliable Trading had filed a case after KRBL terminated its distribution agreements in 2022. KRBL is planning to challenge the order under the the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, the company said in an exchange filing.
For the quarter ended December, the company reported a net profit of INR 1.70 billion on a revenue of INR 14.77 billion. Friday, its shares ended at INR 339.65 on the National Stock Exchange, down 2.2% from the previous close. End
