MUMBAI – LT Foods Ltd. Wednesday said the US Department of Commerce reduced the countervailing duty on subsidiary Ecopure Specialities' exports of organic soybean meal to 75.48% from 340.27%. In June, the department had imposed a duty of over 340% on Ecopure's exports of soybean meal worth INR 500 million to the US during 2023.
"The US Department of Commerce, through its Final Order dated February 23, 2026, has significantly revised the CVD rate applicable to Ecopure's exports of organic soybean meal to the United States," the company said in an exchange filing.
At 1524 IST, shares of LT Foods were down marginally at INR 408 on the National Stock Exchange. On a consolidated basis, the company's net profit for the December quarter was INR 1.57 billion on a revenue of INR 28.09 billion. End
