Bharti Airtel, Zscaler partner for AI, cyber threat research centre in India

MUMBAI – Bharti Airtel and Zscaler Inc. have partnered for artificial intelligence and cyber threat research centre in India, according to an exchange filing Friday. The research centre is designed to improve India's cyber defence and will mark Zscaler's expansion into India.
"The threat landscape is evolving at machine speed, with nation state and financially-motivated attackers increasingly leveraging AI to probe, target, and weaponize vulnerabilities in minutes," the filing said. "As threats grow in sophistication, traditional perimeter-based security models are no longer adequate..."
For the quarter ended December, Bharti Airtel reported consolidated net profit of INR 66.31 billion on revenue of INR 539.82 billion. Friday, shares of the company ended slightly lower at INR 1,977.40 on the National Stock Exchange. End
