TCS arm, AMD partner to co-develop rack-scale AI infrastructure

MUMBAI – Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. has expanded its collaboration with AMD through its subsidiary HyperVault AI Data Center Ltd. to co-develop a rack-scale artificial intelligence infrastructure design based on the AMD "Helios" platform, TCS said in an exchange filing.
Both companies will offer AI-ready data centre blueprint supporting up to 200 megawatt capacity and will also work with hyperscalers and AI companies to accelerate data centre build-outs in India. AMD's Helios, combined with TCS's enterprise expertise and scale, will accelerate deployment and enhance operational efficiencies for enterprises, TCS said.
"AI adoption is accelerating from pilots to large-scale deployments, and that shift requires a new blueprint for compute infrastructure. With 'Helios', we are delivering an open, rack-scale AI platform designed for performance, efficiency, and long-term flexibility. Together with TCS, we are enabling enterprises across India to deploy AI at scale today while building the compute foundation of tomorrow," Lisa Su, chief executive officer of AMD, said in the exchange filing.
On a consolidated basis, the company reported a net profit of INR 106.57 billion for the December quarter on a revenue of INR 670.87 billion. At 1438 IST, shares of Tata Consultancy Services were up marginally at INR 2,701 on the National Stock Exchange. End
