National Fertilizers to set up 25,000 mtpa bentonite sulphur plant

MUMBAI – State-owned National Fertilizers Ltd. Friday said its board has approved setting up a bentonite sulphur plant at its Vijaipur unit with an annual capacity of 25,000 million tonnes per annum.
The company said the proposed project will involve an estimated capital cost of INR 1.04 billion, according to a regulatory filing.
For the December quarter, the company reported a consolidated net profit of INR 1.35 billion on a revenue of INR 68.7 billion. Friday, the stock closed nearly 2% lower at INR 78.14 on the National Stock Exchange. End
