ONGC Q3 net profit rises 1.6% YoY, revenue down 6.4%

MUMBAI – Oil and Natural Gas Corp. Ltd.'s net profit for the December quarter rose 1.6% from a year ago to INR 83.72 billion. The net profit was higher than analysts' estimate of INR 71.46 billion. However, the company's revenue for the quarter was 6.4% lower on year at INR 315.47 billion.
