Hindalco Q3 consolidated net profit falls 45% YoY, revenue rises 14%

MUMBAI - Hindalco Industries Ltd.'s consolidated net profit for the December quarter was INR 20.49 billion, down more than 45% from INR 37.35 billion a year ago. The net profit was lower than analysts' estimate of INR 42.45 billion. The company's consolidated revenue for the quarter was INR 665.21 billion, up nearly 14% from INR 583.90 billion a year ago.
