MUMBAI - Trent Ltd.'s net profit for the quarter ended December was INR 6.40 billion, sharply up by over 36% from INR 4.69 billion a year ago. The net profit was higher than analysts' estimate of INR 5.43 billion. The company's revenue for the quarter was INR 52.59 billion, up 16% from INR 45.35 billion a year ago.
