SpiceJet to launch non-stop flights from Ahmedabad to Sharjah

MUMBAI – SpiceJet Ltd. Tuesday said it will launch non-stop flights connecting Ahmedabad with Sharjah, starting Feb. 5. The new service will be available five days a week except Tuesday and Wednesday, the company informed bourses.
The new service is being introduced to expand the company's international network and strengthen air connectivity between India and the United Arab Emirates, it said. With this addition, Sharjah becomes the airline's second destination in the UAE after Dubai.
For the quarter ended September, SpiceJet reported a consolidated net loss of INR 6.21 billion on revenue of INR 7.92 billion. At 1325 IST, shares of the company were trading over 3% lower at INR 24.96 on BSE. End
