KNR Constructions to sell 4 SPVs to Indus Infra Trust for INR 15.43 bln

MUMBAI – KNR Constructions Ltd. will sell four of its special purpose vehicles – KNR Palani Infra, KNR Ramagiri Infra, KNR Guruvayur Infra, and KNR Ramanattukara Infra – to Indus Infra Trust for INR 15.43 billion, it said in an exchange filing Thursday.
KNR Constructions will receive INR 15.43 billion through this transaction against its expected investment of INR 5.67 billion in form of equity and sub-debt in the four SPVs, the filing said. The stake sale is expected to be completed by Sept. 30.
Among the four SPVs, KNR Constructions will get INR 5.48 billion for selling KNR Ramanattukara, INR 4.89 billion for KNR Guruvayur, INR 2.90 bln for KNR Palani, and INR 2.16 bln for KNR Ramagiri. These four SPVs had a combined turnover of INR 13.83 billion in 2024-25 (Apr-Mar).
For the quarter ended September, KNR Constructions reported a net profit of INR 279.09 million and a revenue of INR 4.93 billion. Shares of the company jumped after the stake sale announcement, and at 0950 IST, the stock traded at INR 180.90 on the National Stock Exchange, up 5.6% from Wednesday's close. The equity market was shut Thursday on account of Christmas holiday. End
